CARE INSTRUCTIONS
All of Emma Chapman’s jewellery is handmade in Jaipur, India, in family-run workshops by master goldsmiths and stonecutters.
Please store your jewellery in a soft-lined pouch or box separately so they don't damage each other. Also don’t mix oxidised jewellery with any other jewellery or the oxidisation will affect and tarnish the rest of the jewellery.
To clean your jewellery, if it is made of silver or gold, you can rub it gently with a soft lint-free cloth. However, if the jewellery is made of gold vermeil – please do not rub it or the vermeil will come off. Vermeil naturally dulls over time.
Precious metals naturally tarnish with exposure to air as well as perfumes, moisturiser, make-up, hairspray, perspiration, household cleaning products, chlorine and salt

Please avoid exposing your jewellery to these conditions and always remove it before swimming, showering, exercising or sleeping to extend your jewellery's life and shine. This is especially important for any gold vermeil jewellery, as it will come off if exposed to water or sprays.

All gemstones are delicate, so please make sure you do not knock or drop any pieces of jewellery that have gemstones in them. This can lead to cracks and breaks. Also, gemstones can loosen if exposed to water, so beware of bathing and swimming with gemstone jewellery.

About Emma Chapman Jewels

Finely crafted timeless heirloom jewellery with a luxe bohemian edge. Atelier designed. Emma Chapman jewels is an award-winning brand, which has been showcased numerous times at London and Premiere Classe, Paris Fashion Week. Her jewellery is all exquisitely handcrafted by master goldsmiths and stone cutters in Jaipur, who have made jewellery for the Royal Families of India over the centuries. She lived in Jaipur for over 10 years while building up her craft and establishing her own family-run workshops with goldsmiths and stone cutters. This unique experience gave her an opportunity to totally immerse herself in the ancient jewellery couture techniques used in India, and use them in a fresh modern way in her work. She now divides her time between Jaipur and Somerset.
She is a strong believer in supporting local craftsmen and keeping these dying arts alive, by bringing them into the 21st Century. She incorporates stone carving, embossed, enamel, engraving and jaali work into her jewellery, mixing precious gemstones with 18ct gold and sterling silver. Her signature style is luxe-bohemian in flavour, exotic and glamorous, creating regal heirloom treasures for the 21st century. Inspired by sacred Indian architecture, Emma draws on the ancient geometric patterns, and decorative floral motifs of Islamic and Mughal Art and then gives them a modern twist. Most of her fine jewellery pieces are one of a kind, making them very desirable, as they are unique to the customer.
