When packing for a weekend away with friends, Le Nap's designer Myrthe van Dieijen was struggling to find the perfect piece in her wardrobe. Something stylish to wear in a shared house on a sun-drenched morning, before the day really begins. Something restful to wear before reclining into conversation on a deep sofa next to a log fire in the evening. Myrthe wanted something beautifully designed yet comfortable. Playful yet elegant. What she found was uninspiring and dull, or high-fashion pieces with a price to match. So she decided to create it herself.
What followed was a whirlwind journey. Searching for the most sustainable, gorgeous fabrics the planet has to offer. Talking to real women about perfect nightwear. And meeting future co-founder Roosmarijn. With over 10 years’ experience working with some of the biggest, most desirable brands in the world, Roosmarijn’s passion and enthusiasm for the project was the final piece of the puzzle needed to bring their shared vision to life. Together, Roosmarijn and Myrthe created the sleepwear they always wanted but could never find. Incorporating playful design, boundless comfort and affordable luxury. All built around the core principle of environmental sustainability.
