About YENNYBASTIDA

Fashion designer born in Barquisimeto, Lara, Venezuela. Known for preserving and promoting popular textile and craft heritage through her designs, she continues training her production team in Chivacoa, Yaracuy, employing local women and empowering them with skills for professional independence.

In 2015, Yenny Bastida launched "Stitches for the Future," a program providing childcare and personalized support for her employees' children.

As Executive Director, she leads mostly women, offering training in manual arts and ethical labor policies. A pioneer in sustainable luxury in Latin America, Bastida champions popular culture and artisan collaborations to preserve traditions and techniques.

Her creative direction includes two annual made-to-order collections, iconic pieces from past collections, collaborations with artisans, and cultural research into textile heritage.
