SCHIAPARELLI SS25

AN ETHERAL RETURN TO RUNWAY

Daniel Roseberry, the visionary behind Schiaparelli, has once again captured the world's attention with his Spring/Summer 2025 couture collection.

Titled 'Icarus,' Roseberry's latest creation launched Paris Couture Week in spectacular fashion.

The show unfolded like a dream, with a time-traveling narrative that pushed the boundaries of both art and fashion. Top models and muses, including Angelina Kendall, Alex Consani, and Kendall Jenner, graced the runway, bringing Roseberry's surreal vision to life.

The collection drew inspiration from the myth of Icarus, embodying themes of ambition, beauty, and transcendence. Roseberry expertly combined historical references with avant-garde design elements. Signature Schiaparelli touches, such as dramatic gold embellishments, sculptural silhouettes, and surrealist motifs, were abundant. Yet, there was also a fresh, romantic femininity woven into the pieces, a subtle but significant evolution in Roseberry's design language.

Soft draping, ethereal chiffons, and structured corsetry played key roles in shaping this ethereal collection. These design choices reflect a larger trend we're also seeing across CULT MIA's own curated brands. The softer aesthetic—romantic, feminine, and timeless—is making a strong resurgence. This movement celebrates the modern woman with silhouettes that exude both strength and grace.

Our designers at CULT MIA have embraced this spirit wholeheartedly. Take Lecia, for example, with their delicately cut chiffon flower tops that almost seem to breathe with life. Montsand’s latest pieces feature impeccably tailored corsets, a nod to the classic hourglass silhouette but reimagined for today’s fashion-forward audience. 21six merges contemporary minimalism with smooth structure, perfect for those who prefer understated elegance. Meanwhile, Phan Huy delivers bold femininity with dresses that command attention through both embroidery and soft flowing lines.

As we see designers like Roseberry and our own brand partners lean into this romantic revival, it’s clear that femininity is being redefined. It’s no longer confined to rigid expectations of beauty but rather celebrated in all its complexity—soft yet strong, classic yet contemporary. Whether on the couture runways of Paris or in CULT MIA's latest arrivals, this trend promises to be a defining force in fashion this season.
