How to wear linen in summer

Summer’s Favorite Eco-friendly Fabric

Linen has proven to be T-H-E fabric to wear during hot summer days. It’s highly breathable so you can be comfortably chic. Plus, it’s  durable and wash resistant for timeless elegance. A quality linen piece should be able to live in your closet for years to come.
We at Cult Mia particularly love linen because it’s made from  stalks of the flax plant linum, making it highly sustainable and one of the most biodegradable fabrics currently available in fashion.

This summer, linen has been featured on the runways with new bold cuts and prints, showing off the versatility that this traditional favorite has to offer. From Jacquemus to Lisa Marie Fernandez we have seen vibrant hues of pink and maxi flower prints decorating each thread. Yes, linen is finally more than a white shirt or a pair of staple shorts! This season, Cult Mia is obsessed with updated linen looks that mix classic design with unexpected details. We talked to fellow-linen lovers and the dynamic design duo behind label Tulsi, Megan W. Murray and Laura Tyrie, to bring you a linen styling guide for summer 2020.
Tulsi was inspired by the beautiful women around Megan and Laura and the pieces they felt were missing in their own closets. tulsi looks come to life by mixing vintage and modern fashion to create timeless pieces. Here are their top picks for introducing linen into your wardrobe this season.
