Here are just some areas of sustainability performance that contributed to us achieving Butterfly Mark certification:
SUPPLY CHAIN PARTNERSHIPS
Positive Luxury has helped us devise a sustainable sourcing, audit, and incentive strategy to ensure its suppliers are accountable and rewarded for best sustainability practices. This also helps partners grow sustainably.
CARBON ACCOUNTING
We have started our carbon accounting journeys with the help of Positive Luxury – and have now conducted our first carbon footprint assessment with the goal to become a net-zero business by 2025. Implementation of energy, travel, circular economy, and waste strategies helps limit carbon emissions across all segments of their business operations.
SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTION
We are committed to slow and demand-led fashion, with a high percentage of made-to-order retail products, minimizing waste, returns, and dead stock.
PACKAGING EFFICIENCY
Each item is packaged (in plastic-free, recycled, and 100% recyclable materials) according to size, limiting packaging material waste and creating logistics efficiencies.
Positive Luxury has been certifying luxury brands since 2011. Their mission is to create a sustainable future for luxury by checking out luxury brands so you don’t have to, building trust within their community. Brands must be independently verified and provide proof of meeting the highest quality of sustainability practices across ESG+: Environmental, Social, Governance, and Innovation in order to receive the butterfly mark.
