We named this knit "Laumės" after the ancient goddesses in Lithuanian mythology. This knit is our vision of what a modern Laumė might wear. We call Laumės' cruelty free yarn "cashwool" thanks to its seriously soft feel. It's spun and dyed in-house by our Italian suppliers

Based between New York and Lithuania, The Knotty Ones was founded by three best friends who set out to create the perfect knit while giving back to less privileged women in their community.
